Diagnose my soil

This tool helps identify possible soil problems limiting grain yield using the information you provide and photos to identify field symptoms. Its purpose is to provide a key for unlocking your soils potential.

The user should view the checklist prior to using the diagnostic key to help identify other constraining factors that may limit production.

Instructions

  1. The user will need some knowledge of their crop performance and soil properties
  2. Once in the soil diagnostic key - answer questions by clicking on either YES, NO, or the applicable response
  3. A record of the answered questions are provided as you work through the diagnostic key
  4. Clicking GO BACK or START OVER allows the user to change answers
  5. Consider ALL potential factors influencing grain production (refer to checklist) and click on appropriate cell
  6. To start the Soil Diagnostic Key click on the START button below
